You’re being watched! And counted! At FabCity six special camera’s and software have been installed on request of the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS). This institute is registering the movements of the FabCity visitors. Together with energy supplier Alliander (Zown) and water supplier Waternet, they want to visualise what happens on the premises, so everybody can watch, in realtime the stream of energy, water, waste, and visitors. The data will be streamed on two screens at the Learning Lab. The high-tech equipment was, very environment-friendly, installed with the aid of an old school ladder, instead of an elevating work platform.
