Paul is assistant professor at the Department of Spatial Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on the valuation of non-market goods such as travel time and travel time variability and the regulation of externalities resulting from transportation.

Marco is professor and researcher at the University of Amsterdam, Centre for Urban Studies. He is also the founder of the Urban Cycling Institute (UCI), focused on linking cycling research and practice.
