At Gascoland, cooks from very different cultural backgrounds show traditional techniques of baking bread on biogas produced on location from surplus bread. The BreadDigester kitchen offer delicious preserved foods to accompany the biogas bread.

Hilly is from Suriname. She moved to The Netherlands after her mother passed away, when she was 19 years old. Her mother is also who taught her how to cook… but Hilly has a trick: to always add a bit of extra sugar! And maybe take a break to enjoy a cigarillo, between a recipe and the other.
